Hi, I’m Sara

Small-town girl, born and raised in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. I’m a wife, a proud mom to two competitive boys, one super sassy girl, and a 75-pound golden doodle with a energy level I wish can be shared. I basically run on coffee, a little wine, and sunshine.

Caring for people has always been my passion, which naturally led me into the medical field. Before earning my nursing degree, I worked in OB as a surgical tech. That’s where my interest in newborn photography truly began. Getting to care for moms and snuggle brand-new babies every day sparked a new creative interest in me. 

But my firstborn? He was the real experiment.

Fun lighting. Props. Backdrops. Full production. I’m honestly surprised the poor kid isn’t blind from all the flashing lights during his first year of life.

He got the full treatment, and somewhere in all of that, my love for newborn photography really took off.

And for the last 10 years, I've been blessed to combine my heart for caring with my love for creating.
